Saudi Arbia’s cabinet on March 29,2023, has approved to join Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). This is an indication of Saudi Arabia’s strengthening ties with China.  SCO was formed by Russia, China and former Soviet States in 2001. Now India and Pakistan are also its members, whereas Iran has also applied for membership.
