Kashmiris living on either side of LOC observe Kashmir’s Accession to Pakistan day on 19th July. On this day in 1947, Kashmiris passed Accession to Pakistan resolution which was a demand of accession to Pakistan. Kashmiris remember this historical event and they demand right of self determination. This right is according to United Nations’s resolutions. On 19th July 1947, All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference held its annual session in Srinagar at house of Sardar Ibrahim Khan. Veteran Kashmiri leader Chaudhary Hamidullah Khan chaired this meeting. 59 brave Kashmiri leaders attended this session. This resolution is a clear indication of Kashmiris will who want to join Pakistan. Every human being wants freedom, so do Kashmiris. There is nothing wrong when Kashmiris raise slogans of freedom.
